Of course, you will find photographical prints, but you can also find handmade jewelry, furniture, a multitued of crafts and other handmade products.

All photos for sale are photos that I have taken through out my trips to other states or simply from trips around town. Below are some of my featured items, ENJOY!

Gift from God

This week I was able to photograph another baby model for an upcoming commercial project for the Grace House. The Grace House is a pregnancy resource center aimed to help abortion minded mothers (Grace House). The Grace House is expanding and opening a new location in Edgewater, FL.

Baby Thomas is 1 month old and one of four beautiful children, three of which are in the age range of 1 month to 2 1/2 years old. Mom is a very busy women. Thomas was a such a trooper allowing mom and I to move him around and try different positions, but I will say he definitely has a mind of his own already. Maybe that will be a strong asset in a house of all girls (except for daddy, of course).

Thank you to mom and dad for allowing to spend time with baby Thomas and his sisters who got a little camera time as well.

Lakewood Park Preview

I have decided to extend my trip to Lakewood Regional Park to another week. I did go last week, but took my daughter with me. Nature is my daughter's element but she is not the quietest person on Earth. There were tons of birds, but none that would stick around thanks to my spirited Sophia. So back again this week by myself.

Despite the live band that I was carrying with me I was able to get some photos of some more permanently placed objects. More to come soon.

Oh Beach, How I Miss Thee!!

I know, I know, I live in Florida right? In a coastal city, at that. So how can I miss the beach.? Well, south Florida has been unusually cold the past two weeks with lots of wind. But I have been trying to recreate a black and white photo for my mother that required a visit to the beach. I jumped at the request because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the beach. Could the wind just cooperate a little on my behalf, no such luck.

On Monday there was finally a break in the weather and I made sure we had time to drive to the beach. A trip well worth it. Not only did the kids have a holiday from school but we got to go the beach, YEAH!!! My children must have been missing the beach as well, because that was the least amount of complaining I had heard all month.

When we arrived my girls obliged me with the one photo I just had to get and then they were off to bury things and find shells. Luckily the water is too cold to even think about getting in so I was left to just sit in the sand and watch the waves (without playing LifeGuard). Do you know how relaxing it is to just sit and watch the waves?

The beach is one of the most beautiful places I can think of. When I say I love the beach, I mean...I live on the beach and I still vacation to a beach.

Baby Katie

Recently I had the priviledge of spending time with beautiful baby Katie, who is 3 months old. She happened to be modeling for a commercial shot I am working on for a pregnacy center. I had so much fun with her. I was warned that she is collicy and she may cry. We can't be happy and smiling all the time, maybe I could use the collic excuse on my husband the next time I'm in a bad mood. I was actually hoping to get some crying baby photos anyways.

To me delight Katie was very happy when I arrived, she was talking up a storm. I just love listening to baby sounds. She was smiling at everything. So wouldn't you know that when we start shooting she is more interested in the lights than anything I have.

Mom and dad you have a beautiful baby girl, thank you for allowing me to spend this time with her.

Nature Girl at Heart

Last week I visited River Place Park as my third park for my project. This project has been a great way for to just spend some time with myself and my surroundings. River Place Park is a park that is located within the Savannas Reserve in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This park is basically a nature trail through the woods that ends at the river, but this has been my most enjoyable park so far.

When I first arrived there were no other cars so I assume I was the only person using the trail. The sign said I could possibly see a number of animals (raccoons, snakes, bobcats, etc.) but unfortunately nothing came to visit. However, if I saw a bobcat I probably would not have taken a picture anyway due to my body being frozen in fear. Despite the lack of animal activity I was able to enjoy all the vegetation that surrounded me throughout the path including a skinny tree stump that when you look down on it long enough it started to resemble the creature from Predator. You know, the movie where Arnold Schwarzenegger is running through the jungle trying to find and kill a very ugly alien. :)

Another aspect of this trail were the different types of paths I could take to reach the end. I know this may sound a little cliche but they started to remind of the paths we take in our lives. I crossed a small bridge; Is this a path that is helping me avoid a mess or just delaying my inevitable journey through a mess. I noticed very small, overgrown paths that led off the main path; Is this a path that would help me get to my destination quicker, maybe take me on a scenic trip, or is it a path that is just a diversion. I finally reached the end of the trail and was met by the river. Looking down at the planks I thought; Is this a path that it just leading me to go around in circles.

The dock was my favorite part. I was able to sit on a bench and watch the water. I say just watch the water, because there was not a single animal/bird around. But I truly enjoyed the solitude of being by myself with nature. Maybe next trip I can encounter some wildlife. :)
